HEART PETS LOCAL
Exeter, Devon based Heart Pets Local was first established in 2010. They provide food and accessories for a variety of pets and animals both online and from a physical store. We have held a strong, long-term relationship with Heart Pets Local since they first opened and in 2019, were asked to find a way to improve their own eCommerce store in an effort to increase sales.
What we did: We took over their existing site, which was very dated. The first thing we had identified was that the website needed to be modernised and improve the customers overall experience in an effort to improve the conversion rate.
One challenge with the website was a product range of over 9000 products that called for a bespoke solution. Working with their developer, we were able to develop a custom solution that links into their own ePOS till system saving them many hours each week with the management of their product catalogue.
Another unique feature was to also offer free, same day delivery for customers within a certain postcode range.
The resulting website is a clean, easy to use website fit for purpose which has seen an almost immediate upturn in sales.
Results
- During the first January, since Heart Pets Local has been launched, we have managed to achieve a whopping 26% conversion rate.
- From when they launched, we have managed to noticeably improve sales.
